Huge respect to nine of our colleagues who completed this year’s Worcester 10K City Run on Sunday. They ran to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
Despite the grey cloudy day, the rain held off and there was a wonderful atmosphere in Worcester as over 1,300 runners lined up for the run. Our runners have varying levels of ability and preparations for the run were mixed. And so it was that some crossed the finishing line with a smile on their face whilst others had grit and determination etched on theirs. But despite the exertion and the odd limp, they were buoyant and the smiles soon returned in abundance.
Cutting to the chase …
Many of us know someone affected by prostate cancer, and we probably know someone who will be affected in the future. Our guys and gals have already raised a whopping £2,300 for this great cause. With your help we can make that figure even better. Please donate.
